Nicole's Party!

On April 6th, one of my besties, Nicole turned 30! Even though we took her to Florida a few weeks before to celebrate, she still needed an official birthday party, so I threw her one! It was nothing big, just a few friends and a cook out (thanks Horsleys for bringing the grill).

We ate good food, played some games, and sang happy birthday for the 3rd time. This is the last time I am going to say it this year, Happy Birthday Nicole!

Easter, Part 2

On Easter Sunday we had small baskets at our house and then we had breakfast and watched conference with my parents. Then we found and feasted on our second Easter baskets at my parents' house. Then we headed over to Justin's parents' house for more festivities. We ate lunch and then the kids dyed eggs.

Next we had some yummy cupcakes.

Then it was time for the annual Cersey egg hunt. I think we had over 300 eggs to find! Some of them had cash inside!

By the time the hunt was over Drake was so hopped up on sugar that he started flying!

Then he crashed and had a sugar hangover...

It was everything that a great Easter should be - General Conference, Family, food, and fun. We are so blessed.

Uncle James was even in town. The boys were so happy to see him. It was sad to say goodbye.

Easter, Part 1

Every year we get invited to several Easter egg hunts, and every year we try to make it to at least two, which is what we did this year. On the Saturday before Easter we went to the Baugh's annual Easter egg hunt extravaganza. There were lots of kids there and lots of eggs to find. Here is Jackson scouring the yard for eggs.

Drake, on the other hand, was content to find just a few eggs and then eat the goodies inside.
Here are some of the friends we saw at the hunt that morning. The boys' cousins, Meg and Lex where there. We saw Aaron and Arianna Weems. Brindi, Ryan, and Aiden Horsley were there. And then of course our friend the nasty slug showed up. There was also a literal slug on one of the eggs we found.
