Birthday, Baseball, Bucket, and Baby Belly

Jackson turned 2 today! We got him a tricycle type thing, some T-ball stuff, and a large coloring poster. We are having a combined party for Jackson and Justin on Saturday with all of our family and friends.
Jackson, Justin, and Grandpa Cersey went to a Braves game a couple of weeks ago and had a great time. The Braves beat the Oakland A's.
Jackson likes to wear buckets on his head.
Here I am at 35 weeks pregnant.

Bed Rest, Grease, and the Children's Museum

So, I went to see Dr. Evans on Wednesday and I decided to have him check and make sure that the baby was... well, not going anywhere. Anyway, just my luck, I am 1 centimeter dilated and 50% effaced and I am only 33 weeks along, so its bed rest for me for the next 2 1/2 weeks. I almost made it to the end, but not quite. It isn't going to be as easy this time because of Jackson, but at least it is only a couple of weeks instead of months. Last night Justin took Jackson out in the garage to fix his car and this picture shows the damage. Jackson is crying because I wouldn't let him touch me with his greasy hands. On Tuesday I took Jackson down to Imagine It! Children's Museum. Of all the cool things that he could have done there all he was really interested in were the train tables. He did play in the water pond and with the ball machine for a minute, but most of his time was spent with the trains just like the ones he has at home. After the museum we went over to Danielle and Andy's house for dinner. Jackson played with their daughter Brooklyn. Aren't they cute?!

Day Out With Thomas

Yesterday we drove up to Chattanooga, TN to spend the afternoon with Thomas the tank engine. Jackson loves everything Thomas, so he was out of his mind excited. It was really cool to see how happy this trip made him. He got his picture taken with Thomas and then we took a ride on one of Thomas' coaches. He got a little bored on the 20 min. train ride because he didn't quite realize that we were riding on a train, but he did enjoy meeting Conductor Bob. After we got off the train we watched Thomas chug around for awhile and then we went to a nasty little petting zoo and a tent with lots of Thomas and Friends toys. We also saw some other cool trains that Justin and Jackson climbed around on. All in all, it was a fun afternoon and well worth the 3 hour drive.
