Jakson's 4th Birthday!

For Jackson's 4th birthday we put up Grandma Cersey's huge water slide in our back yard. The kids loved it!

Jackson has some really great family and friends. Lots of people came to his party. Both sets of Grandparents were there. His aunts Jess, Jana, and Jenn as well as uncles Andy, Ta, and Albert all came with their kids (Megan, Alexis, Anthony, Ethan, Ellie, and Emily). Nicole, Jonny, Maggie, and Avery. Ryan, Brindi, and Aiden. Natalie, Dean, and Kenzie Putnam. Blossom, Arianna, and Aaron Weems. Carey, Chris, and Boston Fox. Even some of the neighbor kids we don't know showed up for a little while.

He got some great presents. He is way into Transformers this year, so he got several Transformer toys, as well as some other cool stuff. Thanks everyone for all the fun toys!

Somehow I missed taking pictures of the cake. I think it was because I was holding it. Oh well. Jackson had chocolate and vanilla cupcakes. Good times.

More in May

Jackson helping daddy with the car...
Drake so happy to be holding new baby Avery Wood...
Drake had an audition for a commercial with me. He did terribly. He was very uncooperative. At least he looked cute beforehand.
These pictures speak for themselves...

Fun in the sun with a new water toy...

Justin and I went on the ward temple trip to the Columbia S.C. temple.

I cut Jackson's hair. It was suppose to do either a faux hawk or just lay flat, but it kind of looked like a floppy mess. Jackson hates having his hair styled and he really hates people complimenting him on his hair, so we ended up buzzing it a few weeks later so he would stop crying about it.

GA Aquarium

Our friend Becky Facer volunteers at the Georgia Aquarium and every Friday night during the summer she can get 4 guests in for free. We took her up on this offer and the boys had a blast!

Jonny's Birthday Party Sans Jonny

My friend Nicole was planning on throwing her Husband, Jonny, a big Manly Mustache Bash for his 33rd birthday, but it didn't quite work out as planned. Nicole went into labor the morning of the day that the party was suppose to take place. Since all the preparations had already been made and now we had two birthdays to celebrate, I decided to throw the party at our house. Here are the mustaches...

Here are all the kids. Yes there is a picture of Aiden stuck under the futon. It is a common occurrence.

Draw the stache on Jonny got a little out of control...

We all had fun, though we missed Jonny and Nicole.

Here is the beautiful reason they couldn't make it to their own party. Avery Jane Wood, welcome to the world!

1st Father - Son Camp Out

Justin and Jackson went on their first father-son camp out recently. I wasn't there so I can't give a full report, but from what I have heard Jackson had a great time. He rode around on J.P. Alvarez's four-wheeler, he roasted hot dogs and one marshmallow. Jackson played with his good friends J.P. Alvarez and Jones Shumway. Justin didn't want to set up a tent, so they slept on a mattress in the back of grandpa's car. Neither of them got very much sleep. In the morning Justin had breakfast (Jackson wouldn't eat), and then got ready to head home. Before leaving, however, Jackson got a hold of a salamander, which he enjoyed torturing. Typical boy behavior. Here are the few pictures Justin took. As you can see, he managed to avoid getting a picture of father and son on their first father-son camp out. Oh well.
